Used 4 cycle oil in 2 cycle 9.9 Johnson

I used a 4 cycle marine oil with my gas in my 9,9 Johnson. Can I just add the right 2cycle oil to it or dump out 5 gallons of gas.

better to dump it, will foul plugs. in the 40's and 50's they used #30 oil, smoked like a chimney.

At what ratio did you add the 4 stroke oil?

Dump it into your car so your not out anything.
Your car will run fine with it.

Use it in another machine. Just dilute it with more good gas. Add it to your car and fill the tank the rest of the way at the pumps.

It will be fine in the lawn mower or the car and then fill it up as previously stated. Don't plan an e-test till it's well gone though !!

Personally, I'd leave it in the boat and add the correct tcw-3 to make it 50:1. But obviously others do not agree! But 100:1 is a low ratio, dumping it your vehicle would be a close second...

i dump 2 stroke in my truck all the time. end of the weekend empty boat gas into the truck. otherwise ill never make it home seein as ive spent all my money on beer and minnows

Wrong oil, wrong ratio. The 100:1 was cancelled in favor of going back to "50:1", which is really 48:1

Add TC-W3 oil to make it 48:1 and go boating. In a 6 gallon tank that would be an additional 1/2 pint TC-W3 oil.

In the future use only TC-W3 and mix it 48:1. . .1 pint per 6 gallons.
