Tilt/Trim broken

My tilt/trim is broken on my 2.0 Mariner 150. I am trying to lower the engine manually. I cannot seem to find an obvious oil bleed-out location on the piston. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

John, For the PTT units mounted between the transom brackets, there is usually a plastic manual release screw accessed thru a hole in the transom bracket. It would help to know what you are working on.

You also might remove the unit from the motor and repair it on the bench, rantehr than tilting it manually.
