Determine the year of an outboard

How do you determine the year of an engine. Next to the Made in U.S.A. stamp on the engine block the numbers read: 800-818154-C7, Mercury Manufacture Number 0E135905. Are there any more numbers on the engine block that I am missing.

There should be a metal tag under the intake with all the engine data on it.

0E135905 is the serial number.
It is a 1995 model.
