Another "What is this?" thread (pic)

This time, the category is: insects
Location of origin: NW Mississippi

Never seen one of these around here before. Got kind of a dragonfly-mosquito-mayfly look to it. Tips of it's wings are feathered. Flys like it's drunk. Unable to recognize ceiling fan as a threat.

I believe it's a variety of the dragonfly family. We called then "witch doctors" when I was a kid. Don't know where this name came from. Someone had to have told us.

Damsel Fly? They are similar to a dragon fly, but look more fragile.

Looks like an Ant Lion (Glenurus gratus) to me.

I don't know, but it is carries a highly contagious and extremely deadly virus on its feet and anything living that it lands on will die, rot, and fall off. Good thing you don't need that hand, Spots!

Looks like an Ant Lion (Glenurus gratus) to me.
