Re: no water flow

poke a piece of wire into the hole from the outside. I had a 'mud dauber' wasp pack mine full.

I did all kinds of things trying to figure it out, before someone told me to check that. lol

Re: no water flow

Hi there. It should pee the instant it is started and remain constant while motor is running. You may notice a bit of a pulse to it at low idle but still it will pee constant. I would suggest you pull it apart again and make certain the little impeller pin is in place or your impeller will just spin on the drive shaft. You also need to be very careful putting the leg back on to be sure the water tube lines up with the rubber grommet (outlet) of the water pump. Beyond that you need to be careful the drive shaft and gear shift rod line up as well. The pee stream is there to tell you the pump is pumping and the water coming out of it has not gone through the engine so it is not an indication that your getting good cooling. Place your hand on top of the head and if you can hold it there for a slow three count it is cooling well. If your certain your getting everything lined up already you can pull the leg and connect o hose directly to the water tube and give it a good flush that way although ideally you should remove the stat. for that type of a flush. My gut feeling is your impeller key pin is missing. Best of luck and let us know what you find or don't find. Rick.
