It's a good unit. Combine it with a Performer manifold and you will be pleased with the results.
Years and years ago, I put the 600 cfm version with a performer manifold on a small block Chevy powered Bayliner (came stock with a 305 2 bbl) and it lit that engine up. Was able to go up in prop pitch and maintain rpm, picked up about 6 mph on top end with a better hole shot.
I can't say enough good things about my experience.
Just make sure you get it jetted right if you do get it, put it on, make some runs, check your plugs, etc. Of course you'll have to do this with ANY carb for that matter.
