Here the air temps are over the 90's. Was thinking on the lake tomorrow. Went and check and saw many pwc and a hand full of boats doing tubing, everyone else was fishing or cruising. Parking lot was full. I did not see anyone in the water wearing a wet suit. I went in the ramp all the way till it ended and put my hand in the water. It felt quite cold. One of the fellow boaters had a fish finder with temp and it showed 67 deg. Do you guys think that is too cold to be in the water safely? We always use a floating device but if that is too cold to be safe I guess I will leave the water toys and swimin trunks behind and just enjoy cruising.
I know I can just go and check, but I dont want to look like a fool when I take my company prepared for swimming and it is unsafely cold... They will also be teens, a 13 y/o boy and a 16 y/o girl. I know it might be too cold to spend the entire day floating in the water as we generally do but if swiming/floating is safe I want to try it for a bit.
