hello people thanks for reading! took out my new 2 me motor it started up perfect idles the same, goes 2 wake speed then theres nothing if i go any further with the throttle,it just dies, half to pull back quickly to keep her running.what do you advise i do in what order to fix the problem.runs perfect other than that.I noticed the advance lever under the flywheel for the ignition only moves until it hits that stopper.mine seems really like it might be holding it from going where it should.like it moves only 2 inches or so before hitting it.the screw is almost all the way out toward the lever.dont know if this is a problem thanks 4 everything peolple.

my motor was the same after i went through and replace the stator and timing gear and started rebuilding the carb i found that the #1 carb had a small hole right be side the three holes in the back of the crab. i got a parts motor and rebuild the carb and it runs fine now so i would check your carbs....the timing gear my move about two inchs befor i hits the stop so i think yours is good...let meknowif that helps

Sounds as if the high speed circuit of your carbs are bad. Order a kist and take time to clean them well chasing the passages with a syringe and alcohol and rebuild the carbs.
