How much is boat worth? Frozen motor...

I have a 1989 Sunrunner 215CV cabin cuddy boat that didn't make it to get winterized in time last winter. I figured the motor was shot so I didn't bother winterizing it this winter either. I don't have the time or money to mess with the boat and would like to sell it. Just looking for some idea of what to ask for it. Someone said I should get the value of it and then subtract $1000 for the motor. I am boat illiterate so I don't know what to ask for it. Any ideas anyone has would be greatly appreciated...thanks!

you can google it thru KBB or NADA, prolly not much though.

A boat that old with a shot motor is basically worthless. The trailer might be worth something if it is in decent shape. You will probably get more for it by selling the parts on EBay.

its only worth what ever you could find some one to give you. in todays economy with good boats going cheap ,it wont be much.

If the trailer and outdrive are OK then it's worth more in pieces i'd say. Sell the trailer, sell the drive then part out what's sellable on eBay and scrap the hull.

As is, I'd say maybe $500 if you find an industrious buyer.

Just last spring, I picked up 1989 Rienell cuddy with a blown engine on a roller bunk trailer for $200. Still don't know why I bought it as it is gonna cost twice as much as the boat will be worth. Its sad because the hull is flawless. I plan to turn it into a small frog pond this summer in the back yard
