I need the little spring for the flywheel does anyone know where to get that at ? Is it possible to convert from a pull start to an electric start?

Those little pawl springs are available from a dealer at a rediculous price. Everybody makes their own. Post your question at www.aomci.org and somebody will post the way to do it.

Electric start on an antique 5hp? Are you serious? In a word--no.
