How many oz. of oil to fill the lower unit?

I'm refilling the lower unit on my 1984 Evinrude 90, So far i've put in about 30 oz (three tubes) it's still not coming out of the upper fill plug, how many oz. of oil does that unit take? Thanks

You normally just fill it in the fill hole (bottom) untill it starts seeping out of the vent hole (top).

I dont have a clue on the ounces, though if you have a factory manual it might say.

As stated just put it in till it comes out the top hole, unless it is running out somewhere there is nowhere for it to go.

I buy mine in quarts and it takes almost the whole quart to fill the lower on my 50.

It takes 31 ounces..
