not quite enough information. Wakeboarding is tough because the speed is slower (18 mph is common) some boats have a tough time staying on plane. Then add to that a person carving or just running straight behind the boat and that can make a big difference. Once it starts getting on a plane it seems to take off and then when you slow down it's starts to fall off the plane so it may seem like it's difficult to maintain a constant speed. I noticed a big difference going from pulling waterskiers to wakeboarders.
