Wonder if that'll show up as a project here for someone to repair that damage. Ouch!

Man...I thought the crane was going to roll over, didn't see it happening that way. Seriously, though, if you're going go for the speed launch technique... shouldn't there be more water under the boat? Never saw a boat launched from a trailer like that either. Yeah, BEFORE someone chimes in about TRAVELLIFTS in marinas. Seen 'em...Drove 'em.....DIFFERENT:D

Ad that is why you NEVER NEVER NEVER ride a lift. Especially when done with slings. Glad no one was killed.

Re: How not to unload a boat!

looks like the boating trip may have been postponed;).

it looks like things worked out for all of us........nobody in the video was physically hurt and we got a good laugh:D.

:eek:who gets stuck with the bill on something like that?

1. the operator should have refused to let them in the boat while being dipped in the drink...at the very least told the guys to stay in the center of the boat.

2. the people in the boat should have had enough sense to realize that the boat is already unbalanced due to motor, outdrive, batteries, etc. and stayed in the center of the boat.......or even better on the ground.

i hope they have better luck in the future.
