What year is my outboard?

I have a Mercury 115 hp with serial numbers 7025741 made in Canada. It has the blue band on the cowling. When I look in my manual there are no numbers which correspond to these. Could it be my manual Seloc Mercury Outboard Volume III has US serial numbers?
Does anyone know what year these number match with or where I can find this out?
