Anyone else cut their grass today?

I hope that is the last cut for winter. I love cutting my grass in 50 degree weather. It didnt all need it, but it was really scraggly, and the stupid pine needles are too hard to rake.

The better half cut ours yesterday while I was at work. Saved me the chore and afforded me some down time in the afternoon.

You know, if you mow your grass in the morning and then it snows in the afternoon that you will have green snow? I found that out this past November after our first snow.

I feel sorry for you folks out in that awful 50F weather. Here it warmed up to 20F today.

Fortunately the snow blower is still running.

Nah, I had to use the snowblower 3 times today, to stay ahead of the snow, then it still left an inch or so on the ground when I got done

Hmmmmm . . . we mow all year . . . Winter helps with weeds, especially crabgrass, but the lawn looks very scraggly anyway in wintertime. Some guys can keep a lush green look all year here, I've never been able to

Too much ice on the grass to cut it - planted new grass seed in late fall so didn't want to cut it too early - will wait till spring thaw before cutting ...

No grass but shoveled some snow about 10" worth.

I usually cut it one last time while using the mower to corral up the leaves. I always say I'm going to fertilize and aerate and put out pre-emergent before spring but it never happens.
