Fuel Leaking from engine

My neighbor has let me borrow her 5.5 hp Johnson Seahorse to fish a lake with a motor restriction. I've replaced the coils, spark plugs, impeller, and the fuel line hose coming from the tank to the engine. For the fuel line I just used auto fuel line hose for the fuel side, and rubber hosing for the air side. Since it isn't my motor, I'm trying not to spend much money, so I really don't want to convert it from a pressurized tank to a single line fuel tank.

Since I've made these changes though, I can't get the motor to quit leaking fuel from where the female end of the fuel line connects to the engine. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, newguymike

Replace the o-rings in the connector. Part number 301824. They are a special size, have to get them from a dealer.

There's a post somewhere in this forum that provides the part number and a location where you can purchase the o-rings (I believe they also posted the complete instructions on how to replace the o-rings).
