spun prop??

18 hp. i marked the the prop and the hub. my marks didnt line up after i ran it, but was only like a half of an inch off.If the prop is spun would it act like it was going into neutral when you have it full throtle and then u bring it down to an idle and it will take off again until you got to full throtle? Please help!!!

kinda like a car with a slipping clutch - motor revs up while the boat slows down - a prop shop can fix you up
