Galvanize a Trailer?

I was just curoius if a painted steel trailer could be media blasted and then be galvanized?

yes it can -you might check with the galvanizing place before paying to have it blasted though-prep could be included in cost wether you need it or not.

Are trailers hot dip galvanized or are they done a different way?

probably cheaper, to sell the trailer and buy a used one.

WAY WAY cheap Tashdadday.

You would be hard pressed to find a hot dip galvanizing shop that would even accept the job of doing non-virgin steel.

Clean it up and re-paint with Rustoleum or similar is most likely your best bet.....or as Tashasdaddy says, sell it and buy a galvanised one.
