I was pulling a tube and my engine lost propulsion.I was able to anchor at a low speed but my engine winds out over 2000 rpm.Anyone have any idea what this may be?

If you are saying that the engine is running normally or faster but that the power is not there for moving the boat, then you may have spun the prop.

You can test that by making a mark on the hub, using the cotter pin as a pointer, and running to see if the mark moves.

Just had the same problem as well. Turns out I have a leak in my head gasket that just went and lost compression power. Might want to check that out as well.
