I am in the process of replacing the clutch dog on a 1986 4.3L OMC 800. I am to the point where I am attempting to pull the prop shaft out. I am haveing trouble as the prop shaft doesnt seem to want to come out. It seems as though it is connected somehow to the shift rod. Is there a trick to getting this out? I am following the directions in the manual and am haveing no luck. Any help would be great, please please please.
