Are the head and intake manifold gaskets the same for a Mercruiser and a GM 5.0?

Welcome to iboats.....
They will fit, but use different materials for marine application.....
Don't use auto head or intake gaskets for marine applications.....​

It all depends, just don't use any copper or steel. Stainless and composites will work just fine and are available everywhere.

It really only matters if you use the wrong gaskets. You will be changing them again in a couple of years(probably less than a year in salt)

Get yourself a good set of Fel Pro's and you will be set.

yes they are, under sierra marine parts.
