OD lowers after a couple days...

I have a 88 FourWinns I/O and the outdrive while sitting at marina on trailer, Ive noticed it dropped from all the way (tilt) up to down position. Is this a problem? Serious or not so?

It is leaking some where....
You need to find out where... ...
Could be not so bad to bad.....
Find the leak & post back......
You need to add fluid to the trim pump......

Could you tell me where on the boat the trim pump fluid resv. is located? Its a 1988 205 Fourwinns I/O with a 305 GM.

Merc., Volvo or OMC......
On a Merc. it will be on the port side in the rear......​

It's integral with the trim pump motor. Can't answer that question exactly without knowing what you have OMC, Volvo, Mercruiser.
The leak could also be internal leak in rams or the valves in the pump itself.
On some setups, the dealers have a manifold to determine which one is leaking internally.

Impossible to answer without some testing. It is a problem, could be pump problem, could also be a cylinder leaking internally, could be a loose fitting on a line.
