I had to share this pic. Every year in the spring Texas has beautiful bluebonnets in fact, it's the state flower. This year they got snowed on.

pretty picture we have a forrest here where the floor of it is covered with those we call it bluebell woods

That is one thing I sorely miss by living in the sub-tropics.
I suppose you get doffodils and all the other spring bulbs too.

Mrs puddle would like to know what the tree is in the back ground.She
thinks it looks like a russian olive tree.Verry nice picture.

Take away the pretty flowers and that is what somewhere in NY looks like today!

PD, I'm not sure what kind of tree that is, I was going to guess a live oak but the trunk structure dosen't look like it, anyone care to guess?

Looks like a grove of Live Oaks.....you see them like that in the Hill Country near Austin....with the snow and bluebonnets it's my guess that's where the picture was taken.
