Stick Steering ?

I have a 14ft. war eagle jon boat bench seats it seems to me that putting the steering contol on the top of the seat will make stick steering rod to high . Is there any to lower the steering box without putting it out of reach? Thanks

i found that having the stick on the seat was very ackward, as you have to pivet to turn left (handle back). here's my solution. ez glide sells these mounts,, but i made mine

Thanks for the info and the pic. I have been a tiller handle person all my life this is a big step for me. Thanks this is a great site!
