I went on the website, and it showed the track like dead over my city. I went and it said my city would get overflown at an 84 degree angle to the horizon! It went straight overhead!

That was so cool. There are people on that thing.

What makes it light up as it goes past?

It is reflected light---just like the moon. That's why it winks out when it passes into the earth's shadow.

i got my children up once when the shuttle was flying over it was a once in a lifetime :) perfect clear sky

watched the space station pass over one night while fishing, very cool!

I saw it and the shuttle about 10 degrees apart. They had just separated a few hour earlier. It looked like they were playing tag at 17,000mph. Very awesome.

Have seen it too, fast moving and really bright when we were lucky enough to view it. Also was lucky enough to see the space shuttle piggy back on a 747 when it was being moved from Edward’s back to Canaveral. Cool stuff.
