Repairing Cut Through in Hull

I accidentally cut through the hull when replacing the floor and stringers several years ago. I patched on the outside of hull with cloth (the thin chopped mat). This many years later, I dont see any sign of cracking, is this an OK repair or should it be done correctly? Can this be repaired from the outside (going from inside requires going through the floor)??

Thanks.

To do it "right" it should be done from the inside. If your repair has held and you feel comfortable with it leave it alone

i would need to know your uses of the boat and it's size before I answered.

Is it a 30' racing catamaran? a 14' powered by a 30hp motor?

Let us know.

Fill-in any voids (inside or out) with Marine Tex.
