Well, I finally finished winterizing the boat last night, took everything out of the boat and moved them in the house. Dog gone it, cabin fever had already set in. :'( Stupid winter! :|
That's why you build a heated garage - so you never have to winterize! Then the boat if available for all the winter hunting seasons (as long as the lake doesn't freeze over, which it doesn't till middle of January or February, if it does at all). 8)
Yep, that part of winter stinks, but the snow skiing and playing in the snow are lots of fun also, so you don't HAVE to stay inside, just play on the frozen water!
One year in the early 1990's we had a lake freeze
Launched the jet sled in January and goofed off for a couple hours just getting on step then sliding across the ice then plopping back down in the water again.
Not sure why I did that, but it was fun!
