sea-horse 4.5 information required

8) Hi all, i bought a 4.5hp sea-horse a year ago and am pleased to say that after at least two years standing it started well and runs smoothly.From reading other posts on the site i think the oil mix should be 50/1 or 100ml to 5 litres but i would like confirmation on this.
Any other info would be much appreciated,model noJ5RLCIC, serial noB001798.Thanks.

The 1981 4.5 would use 50:1 87-89 US Octane to TCW-3 oil.

Cheers for that ezeke, while i`m on, does adjusting the mix switch (next to the fuel switch)clog up the plugs. Or am i better leaving it in one position once ive found the sweet spot?
