Is Yamalube 2-W ok for outboards?

I will be getting my 25 hp 2 stroke outboard tomorrow. In the mean time, I picked up some oil at the local Yamaha shop. They sold me Yamalube 2-W. The owners manual calls for Yamalube 2-M. Anyone know the difference and will the 2-W be ok?

I would not use 2-W in an outboard. its designed for personal watercraft which have different operating characteristics.

I took it back this morning and the two other guy at the parts counter wanted to know who sold it to me.
