what prop to buy

Hey guys I am looking for a liittle help. I have 2001 chaparral 19'6" bowrider with a 5.0 mer. It has a 3 blade 21 pitch prop now. i looking for prop that will give me more of a hole shot for skiing and other water sports. I don't mind lossing some top end.

Is your prop vented, and what is your wide open throttle RPM now?

I will have to look next time we go out to see wide open rpm. I do know that it runs about 56 mph a wot. No it is not a vented prop now.

If the RPM comes out at near the top of the recommended range with a normal load, I'd say just vent the prop you have...if the RPM is mid-range or lower, I'd consider something like a solas Lexor in a 19P.
