Motorcyle batteries???

What kind of local stores might have a good selection of motorcyle battery sizes besides a motorcyle shop??? I perceive that the latter would most likely be high priced.

Batteries Plus, Interstate, Walmart, (and you perceive pretty darn good)......

Farm & Home, Tractor Supply, Farm & Fleet, etc. Napa should have them too. For most bikes anyway.<br /><br /><br />I had to pay a premium price for a BMW battery, but it was the only one that would start my K100. Even a new battery from my Goldwing and a friends Harley would not start it. Just not enough amps available.

I bet you sent it 'priority' instead of 'parcel post'? I should have specified. I just checked the USPS website. That's what happened. I owe ya!

Got it at Napa for 19.95. Will take them overnight to get it. WalMart just had larger 12v and mine was a tiny 6v.<br /><br />Thanx LD

Lucky you. Mine for the Beemer was $110 back in 1990.

Got mine 12V sealed dry cell battery from HArley as recommended @ around $85.00. Used to have wet cell battery but they did not last very long as the cell keep getting dry from the engine heat. Had it for about 4 months now and doing pretty good on it.

rayjay, I was bragging back then, but can't afford it anymore.<br /><br />I even used that bike/battery to jump start an s-15 truck at the campground one night. It had amps. The bike needed it for all the electronics, fuel injection, and high compression motor.
