just bought a donzi madalion with a 90 sport jet, clogged it up with sea weed , then shut it off to unclog the screen... when i went to start back up, it would barely turnover... after much trying i opted for a tow, and while i was being towed, i tried again and she fired right up.... started it up at home with a "dealers flush" attached and it is doing it again.... it cranks fine with the plugs removed. the starter is brand new and all the wires are triple checked for tightness and quality for optimum power to the starter.. does anybody have any idea what this might be??????

All the connections are perfect, I HAVE USED TWO BATTERIES TO TRY AND FIGURE THIS PROBLEM OUT... I AM GETTING SUFFICIENT AMPERAGE TO THE STARTER, BUT SOMTHING IS HANGING UP THE MOTOR, DIDN'T KNOW IF TRAPPED EXSAUST GASSES WERE THE CULPRIT.. MAYBE HYDROLOCKED???

Re: 90 sportjet barely cranks

I AM GETTNG WATER IN THE CYLINDERS, PULLING THE PLUGS REVEALED THIS. I DON'T REALLY UNDERSTAND WHY IT WAS LOCKING UP ON THE WATER, AND THEN RUNNING GREAT ALL DAY. THE "DEALERS FLUSH" SEEMS TO AGRAVATE THIS SITUATION. IS THERE ANY OTHER WAY FOR WATER TO GET IN THE CYLINDERS OTHER THAN A BLOWN GASKET OR A CRACKED HEAD OR BLOCK?? IF NOT .. WHICH GASKET IS THE MOST LIKELY CULPRIT, AND WHERE IS THE ENGINE MOST LIKELY TO CRACK??? ANY HELP IS GREATLY APRECIATED!!!

Re: 90 sportjet barely cranks

FIRST OF ALL!!! I FIXED THE PROPLEM MYSELF..... I DESPERATELY NEEDED HELP AND ALL YOUR DEAR FRIEND "JB" COULD FIX WAS MY TYPING... CUM ON, MY THREE YEAR OLD NEPHEW COULD HAVE HELPED ME OUT MORE. QUANTITY OF POSTS DOES NOT AMOUNT TO "QUALITY" OF POSTS.<br />I'M FROM GERMANY AND I'VE ENGINEERED SOME OF THE EARLY "PORSCHE" ENGINES, AND i WOULD'VE NEVER TOLD ANYONE THAT WAS LOOKING FOR HELP TO "TURN OFF THERE CAPS LOCKS". HOW JUVENILE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. AND I BET A GREEN DOLLAR JB LIKES LITTLE BOYS. SINCERELY, DONZI DAVE.

what a jerk..what are you...13?....for your information typing in capital's is considered "shouting" in forum etiquette..and is also considered rude...what JB did as lead moderator of this forum is ask you to "please turn off your caps lock"...his job is to police the forums not answer every question about engines...there was plenty other people that would have loved to help you if you would not showed your real colors of being a azzhat...noone gets paid to help people here...the ones that do help, do it out of the goodness of thier heart and the love of the force and chrysler engines.<br /><br />and for someone that has "engineered some of the early Porche engines"...for you to come here and ask for help on one of the simpliest 2 stroke engines ever made...makes me laugh.

Re: 90 sportjet barely cranks

Wow, Dave must be close to 100 years old if he designed the early Portia engines.<br /><br />I wonder why he let Ferdinand Porsche put his name on them?<br /><br />And alas, another one returns, that says they will not be back.<br /><br /><br />Originally posted by DonziaDave:<br />"" I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK TO THE FORUMS, SO DON'T BOTHER RESPONDING!!!!!
