what year?

i have a 55 chrysler...model 557hd...any idea what year it was built? has no water flowing thru....gonna change the impeller, but i gotta know what year the thing is....help!!!!<br /><br />lefty

Motor is 1972. Sierra number 47-F433065-2 or a 18-3084. The other impeller listed for the chrysler 55 hP is for only one model which was the 551HA which was produced in 1971. The best way to know for certian is to remove the impeller you have and count the blades.
