Wow Decker ! Quite a lot of good progress since I last checked in ! The deck looks fantastic!
‘Glad to hear the Admiral is doing well now and the elbow thing sounds painful ...
The older we get it seems the longer it takes to heal up . I took a spill in the parking lot at work the other day . Thankfully nothing hurt but am a bit sore still ..
‘Getting a lot closer to splash time ! All ya lack is finishing !

I need to put the channel on top of the side panels and make a piece for the controls to mount on.
Cut some plywood for the consoles. Then onto the wiring.. 100_4229.JPG100_4245.JPG100_4246.JPG100_4241.JPG I will try to keep better track of the updates..

Good to see you get back in the swing of things here at the forum. I've been around here checking on all the threads but not doing anything in the way of boat work.

Nice work on your SS, I don't get to see very many IO boats being worked on lately especially an SS so it's a real treat!

I'm surprised Watermann didn't call you out for not having an ABYC rated helm

Thanks for the commets guys. I do have fun rolling around on my new red seat!!

I have done a few things on the boat but no pics yet.. Been raining for the last 3 weekends here..

I did try to start the 3.0 l this weekend. I couldn't get spark at the coil.. Went over to the mercruiser forum and got some help.
Had to remove the gray tach wire off the coil and then she fired up for me on the first crank..

Guess I may have a short in the wire somewhere..

Stay safe. Stay home..

Thanks for dropping by ab59.. I have been trying to start the motor for the last 3 weekends and it keeps raining here.
I did put a little gas in the carb and fired it up for 10 seconds..
This weekend more rain and cold front..

It's been a long time since I've posted. I still have the SC. Haven't been able to work on it due to the wife's health problems.
Just wanted to check in and say hi to everyone.
Hi Decker, good to hear from you. Best wishes to you and your wife. :)
