Need to replace my alternator. It is original to the boat - 2004. Is it worth the extra $$ to go with oem on this or ok to do aftermarket. I’ve used DB electrical alternator on my last boat and had an issue with the pulley being out of wack. Thoughts?

Google "3862613 alternator" or Lookup Arco #60076 (arcomarine)
Delco-Remy didn't show marine applications

Can you get it rebuilt?
There are shops around that rebuild.
Some are reasonable, some not.
The one closest to me really likes his work :)
Charges more than it costs to buy new, I don't use them.

Arco does good work.

I`d take the original one that you have to a shop and have it rebuilt. Cheaper than new.

VP used a lot of mando alternators.

I've had an ARCO in mine for a while, it consistently charges at 14V....
