I am no rocket scientist or Einstein just a normal outboard enthusiast like you . I have experimented with several method's and chemicals as to what destroys salt in a outboard motor completely & at the same time does not attack the aluminum what so ever .
After sitting & trying to scrape salt deposits off inside the motor that had gone rock hard , after being used in the sea for more than 40 years its a hell-ave job you need a chisel to get it off , ask me i know .
The only thing that gets it off is 70% Nitric Acid undiluted

What iam trying to say is that there are products on the market that you can buy how effective i don't know .
My experience if you dilute any chemical it becomes weaker in strength .

I dilute my Nitric Acid formula too , to save money , but it takes 3 days & more to get the rock hard salt deposits out .. if you put Nitric Acid in 70% strength it takes all salt out within miniutes .
I don't believe that just flushing a motor with whatever is on the market gets the salt out completely with muffs on , Yes on a new motor It will remove salt because the rock hard salt deposits have not formed yet .

So i cannot see them selling a undiluted chemical , that's gonna do the job qiuck fix ,
my experience with this tells me & i have proved it for myself
