We have a 1990 Sea Ray 270 and am in the process of restoring the interior. The head-liner and hull-liner must all come out due to leaks around the bow rails, arch and side windows. During the past two days, I have learned how the boats were put together... but won't go into that at this time.
My question is how do you take the dinette apart? I have all of disassembled with the exception of the foward and aft bench bases... It appear the entire base and floor section was dropped in prior to installing the top of the boat. Considering we have the interior torn down this far, we would like to add some storage under the dinette floor. Are screws hidden under the carpeting? Additionally, the bulk-heads (forward and aft of the dinette) are also really tied in...
Any help would be appreaciated.
