not sure about the boat but the trailer set up looks interesting. why carry a spare tire when you can carry a spare trailer.

It may be a Cruiser Craft, made by Phil Dill Boats near Dallas:
copied from another forum:
I believe that one is called the 19' "Sunbeam" model, and they were manufactured by Phil Dill Boats out of Dallas. I've seen 2 or 3 different cabin styles, and the later ones have more of a flat top cabin, while the early 53-54's had the curved top.

I've ran across a few short ones, and two 21 1/2' ones, but not one that length up close, but there was one for sale on Dallas craigslist a month or two ago. I'll try and get ahold of a friend of mine in Dallas. I think it belonged to one of his friends so I'll see if he still has it.....
The suspected Sunbeam boat:

Neat looking, Aqua or Cruiser Craft... Keep us posted if/when you buy or decide to restore her. It's for sale in Dallas, correct? Is the 1956 Aqua Craft how it's listed on the title?

The one for sale is listed as such. Its smaller and shorter than the pics posted. It's a neat little boat, I think we're going to pick it up. Not title.....ugh!!!!!!

Be sure you KNOW EXACTLY what's required in TX to buy, register & title a boat that doesn't have a title. A few iboaters have posted the trials of boat & trailer purchases when there's no titles. May not be an easy (nor cheap, maybe near impossible) task.

Is Fish&Wildlife, Div Nat Resources or DMV tasked w/ boat titles in TX?

Good luck & post some more pix

In Texas it's "almost" impossible to get a title for a boat. Texas Parks dept has a bond and wait 6 months....but it is possible.
TPWD: Boat Ownership Abandoned Boats/Outboard Motors

The price is a bit high right now so we're going to wait it out a bit. If and when we do make the plunge, I'll post mucho pics!

Now that's nice! I would take that on as a restoration project.
