Welcome aboard guys! slowneasy, that boat reminds me of my last boat. 'Cept yours looks like it's a little over 20'.

Pmolsonmus, had a neighbor with one of those and we had an older boat made by Royal American. Yet another neighbor had a Starcraft that I think was called a "Tristar" tri hull. There were a few afternoons when we would all try to outdo each other on how many skiers each boat was pulling. I think the Tristar got up to six one day. We never beat four.

I'm a boating newbie but hopefully my 1986 Smoker-Craft Avanti is tri enough to get me in!

hello everyone. I just recently acquired a 1980 tri-hull from my uncle. It was made by International Fiberglass LTD. in Winnipeg Manitoba. The model is Belvedere which is basically the same boat as a Glastron V-156 Sportster.

Well it's a trihull but it's a bass boat and it's got Mopar roots. How much more wacky could it get?

This is our 72 Chrysler bass runner 16'. It's front tiller steer with a transom rated for 70hp on a boat that's about 4ft wide. With a 60hp Merc it runs 42mph loaded. It's a little screamer.

Old Chrysler boats are fun. When I was in Detroit, one of my customers had a club of guys based around 'em. Lotsa' neat old glass.

We still have the 45hp Chrysler. The Merc is just so much better though. The only thing we have trouble with is aerating the transducer on plane. That hull tunnel I believe carries air all the way down to the transom.

Just picked up this 69 Larson Shark. Everything works and she seems to be in pretty good shape. More pictures to follow FB21A059-2BFB-4970-9234-9560C06EF258.jpeg24114AA9-08BC-4AA7-B097-69D95023E573.jpeg157B6536-2A2E-4AD4-9E93-819869C2730A.jpeg

Hoping someone out there can tell me more about my Calglass boat, like year and where manufactured. Great boat, solid, kids learned to ski behind it, many fish brought aboard as well.

I think this gets me in the Tri-Hull Club. It's a 1978 Terry ABF. Just picked it up for $1,200.

Hey guys I just stumbled across this club/thread.
I'd like to be considered for initiation,.. lol.

I have an old,.(i guess all tri hulls are old)
1979-15' Pisces 3hull that I have never put in the water. Had it 15+yrs.
Now totally gutted it, removed its cap also like my Mako.
And considering converting it to a modified NC center console,.
thats what I call backyard boat building.

And I guess I need to start my own thread about that, I think I have only referenced this a few times in my other threads.

Thanks.

Oh how much are dues,, {wisecrack}

Hello! Just found this forum. Really nice boats on here! I was given a 14 foot 1978 Chrysler (not sure if model, maybe a valiant?) with a 78’ Chrysler 75hp outboard and trailer. It’s really rough compared to the ones I see here, but I got a thing for it. :)
Hope to snag on of those decals for my tri hull, still available?
Don’t mind the mess, but here it is slowly being worked on. Hope to get a few ideas for mine. Thanks!

Haven't seen Redfury around in a while - easily over a year. He was who did those decals. Might have to find someone else to take up the torch.

Sounds like your the guy! Red returned my message, says they are on Facebook now. I’m not on Facebook, but would like one of these red stickers.

HA! I'll never get it done. I can't believe how busy I am these days. Not to mention I'm in the 3V club on a visitor's pass: I wound up getting rid of my tri-hull a few years ago.

Bummer that Red is over on Facebook and not here anymore.

More history than present. Several people have tri-hulls, but the old types are kinda' dying out.

Yours looks decent. What kind of ideas are you lookin' for? I may be able to point you to some projects I remember.

Well, the interior is gone. Just floor and seats. There was a strip of wood fibreglassed along the edge of the floor and side of boat. It was rotten so I removed it, but wondering what it was for? Structure? Something to staple carpet to? Anchor point for side storage?
This boat will be for fishing, so I plan to rubber-coat the floor to make it simple.
Also it’s a closed bow, wondering about setups people have for their boats.
That’s a start…….lol
