Transom repair required for a280s/p to a290dp

unbolt 280 stuff from transom

bolt in 290 stuff to transom

no photos needed. cut-out may need to be trimmed slightly

you can also simply put the DP lower on the 280 drive if your desire is DP vs SP

I personally like the 290 drive better than the 280 because of the trim, etc.

correct, both are big-hole transom shield.

you will need the whole transom shield and PS cooler and trim pump from the 290
