I have a 1963 StarCraft 11.5ft. I've been looking for replacements for the corner caps, with no luck.
I have the pieces for each side but not sure getting them welded will work.
Are they need for structure or just looks?
Is there another way of diy something that will work at this corner?
thanks

Mine are cast aluminum my son broke one i tried to epoxy it from the back side it didnt last. If the thickness is 1/8” or more a welding shop could weld it. I put a rivet in mine and sanded the sharp edge its functional and nothing that really matters on a 22 year old boat. If welded it will have to be polished as the welding process will change every aspect of its finish. You could clear coat it after its been done.
