i have good pulse from the cylinder, i even pulled the plugs, and turn flywheel by hand, and got good pulse, and good flow with the fuel pump. pulled reeds, they are good, guts from the intake side looked good. going to pull flywheel tomorrow, see what's going on under there.

Silvertip, i did the primer test also.

i'm sure the carbs are good.

the owners BIL is a tech down state, i talked with him tonight, and he is stumped also.

Wet plugs usually mean either no spark or no air with the fuel, or fuel and spark way out of sequence.
Has this motor reportedly run well and then this happened all of a sudden or is this an unknown motor to both you and the owner.

no history, it has never ran correctly for the present owner. he was an uneducated buyer.

I think whipping off the flywheel and seeing what is going on is a good idea at this point.
Look forward to reading an update after work today.

TD, the waiting is gonna kill me! It's sounding more and more like an exhaust blockage since it spits gas out and will not throttle up. If it was a car, I would say plugged catalytic converter or collapsed muffler, BTDT. Did you ever get a pressure&vacuum reading? Hang in there, I know you'll whip it!

well, it is on hold till Monday, the intake gasket did not arrive.

Ya mean I have to keep drinking till monday? I have to drink , it's the only way I'll sleep. If I don't drink It will keep going round and round in my head. Sooo! I got to pass out to rest. Is under the fly wheel O K ?
