Nice Missxena. Did you do that to the boat from a jon boat? Or was it bought that way? Just curious it looks custom. I like it. I been thinking about getting a wide 16' to 18' jon and doing that to it.

Nope not a jon boat. Came new this way. It's a 16' 1987 Grumman Challenger. (alum. bass boat)
The Outlaw and Renegade were two other aluminum bass boat models made by Grumman that were popular in the 80's/early 90's.

great thread, nice to see everyone's rig. heres my first boat, picked it up a few weeks ago. too bad i will have to wait till spring to get it on the water.

Nice time to be enjoying everyones colorful boats - Especialy when so many are wrapped up whiter than winter ! My plans for next season are to strip and paint end put the wind shield back on .

I would like to strip and paint too, but i don't even know where to begin or what to do!

Maybe someone can point me in the right direction?

Just bought in September, had it out 5 times since. Picture from last weekend 68F. I think the season is now over, below freezing tonight.
Love that midwest weather.

Here are some pictures of my 73 Silverline Comoro tri hull. I just purchased it, including trailer, in August. After doing some engine work I've had it in the water 5 times. There is a little mold/ mildew growing on the seats that I need to find away to remove. And, the paint is a little oxidized. I'm not sure how to fix that but, I saw a post in this thread from someone who had the same problem and got it to look much better. I'm glad to find this site so I can learn from all you wise boat owners.

2008 sea ray 205. Fully loaded with all options, including 5.0 MPI, sirius satellite, upgraded stereo with subwoofer, bimini top, all canvas, carpet, etc...
