You know whats tough? When you get close to the end you gotta slow down and not screw something up.....

Hope to splash today

Good Luck today RNJ!!!! The LS looks fantastic...really sharp!!!

I take it that you were able to make those control cables work...good stuff!

yeah the eyelet on the cable was smaller than the bolt so what I did after tapping the bottom of the part inside the box was to also tap out the eyelet so the bolt could pass thru. Didn't want to drill it that could have been sloppy and more potential to break the eyelet. Then took my dremel and chewed off the treads in the middle of the shaft.

decided to hit the close lake, Normandy. Quite a bit smaller than Tims Ford but never as crowded.

Congratulations on your splash. Looks like it was a great time on the lake.
Everything work like it should? How was the repair on the controls?

She has turned out real nice Joe. Congrats again.

yeah a bit of a sag in acceleration but running seamfoam thru it seemed to get better. Ran about half a tank. Had some strange rattling noise we couldnt figure out - until I moved my socket set.....

Otherwise all good.

Need to install horn, replace trailer lights, and put in the side (gunwale) panels. Oh and paint the hatch. Otherwise, she is all done.

I will be putting in a tach at some point as well.

Thanks to all the help answering my stupid questions.
