    Can not shift out of FWD after lower unit install?

    I have a very hard shift out of FWD cond after I installed the lower unit.. Seems like I can not get enough cable lenth to adjust.. Could I have not been properly aligned with shif rod? Not sure If I had the lower unit in "N" or not? might have had it in gear?

    03 Yamaha F225 idle speed in gear?

    Just wondering what the in gear idle should be for a 03 225 four stroke. Mine has a in gearr idle of 600 rpm. I read in the man that 650-750 is norm but is that in gear or out? Once and a while when I put the motor in gear from idle she stutters sometimes?

    large Dia less pitch? Small Dia more pitch?

    I have two props, one large dia, 15 3/4 x 15P. One small Dia 15 1/4 x17P They both give me the same WOT PRM. One has better hole shot revs a bit more, the other less hole shot more top end. Wondering what prop would give me better fuel economy? not concerned with top end.

    WOT RPM 6000 to high ? stressing the motor?

    I know this might be a Q for the prop forum but, just put on a big SWS II prop on my F225 yami 15 3/4 x15 and the RPM is maxing out in the upper range of the motor 5800-6000. Just wondering if this is ok for the motor or putting more stress than it should be. I hardly ever run it up at WOT...
