    1991 40 hp carb hose - what for

    My 1991 40 hp has dual carbs. There is a hose which runs from the top of one carb to the the top of the other carb. Is this hose there for any good reason? Like equalizing the pressure on the negative side to the throttle plates of each carb. This question is more for the theory guys. cheers

    is there any electronics in the control box that would give me a constant sound???

    1991 johnson 40 hp I have unplugged vro, and opened the circuit for the oil reservior. I still get a lesser beep, its not the loud over heat beep. Is the another signal wire i am missing? the ignition was bad so i replaced the ignition with a new upgraded cdi solution. cheers
