is there any electronics in the control box that would give me a constant sound???

1991 johnson 40 hp

I have unplugged vro, and opened the circuit for the oil reservior.

I still get a lesser beep, its not the loud over heat beep.

Is the another signal wire i am missing?

the ignition was bad so i replaced the ignition with a new upgraded cdi solution.

The oil tank harness and the VRO pump harness both need to be disconnected when pre-mixing.

over heat sensor. or just a bad horn.

look at ignition wiring diagrams in THE TOP SECRET FILE.
