    Do I have to put my JOHNSON away ?

    I have a 1988 Johnson 150.I live on Long Island New York. I will be useing my boat on weekends In November striper fishing. After that it will probably sit untill March. I will drain and fill Lower unit. Do you think I need to fog it out ?<br /> Thanks John

    My Johnson is leaking !! Is this a problem ?

    My 1989 Johnson 150 is leaking black oil from the bottom of the power head and down the front of the lower unit.I am assumeing it is due to a exhaust gasket leak.The motor runs great and I would hate to pull the power head if it is just a matter of cleaning the lower unit after use.Will this...

    What is leaking out of my Johnson ?

    1989 Johnson 150,Every time I use the motor it ends up leaking dark black liquid from the bottom of the cowling down the front of the lower unit.I think its gas washing grease out of motor.What do you think? Thanks John

    I have a hard time getting my Johnson up after it sits for 5 minutes.

    Hi<br /> I have a 1989 150 Johnson.The motor runs great.If I stop and restart in the next few minutes it fires right up.If I let it sit for more than five minutes,I have to engage warm up handle.And some times I will have to turn over seval times. Thanks John

    I have to play with my stick to get my Johnson to work??

    I have a 1989 Johnson 150.The control is a single handle top mount,The kind you have to pull out to engage warm-up.When I stop motor in neutral and I try to start again-No power,Then I have to jiggle handle to get to turn over. Whats the deal??<br /> Thanks John

    Idle problem and gas upchuckin from carbs???

    I just checked my compression ,What do you think??

    I just did a compression check on my 1989 Johnson 150.The motor was cold and in the winterized state still fogged.I got a reading of 90lbs on all six.I used an old sears gage.So,is this to low of compression or could it be due to being cold and winterized.And while I am asking what is your...

    Johnson VRO disconnect ???????????
