I'm at it again, In august 2010 I started my six boat restoration. Maybe this will be my last one. She is 1966 Gustafsson & Anderson 103' and her new name in "LOST PERL" It should take me 2-3 years to get done. She has a lot of history under her. Built in Sweden and has been all over the world...
Has anyone every built there own doors? like the bed room, all my doors were hollow core painted cheap junk. I wanted double sided raised panel mahogany doors on all the rooms.

CAN YOU TELL HOW I GOT MORE ROOM
I decided to use fiberglass, it is messy but it will bend easy
I got fiberglass 1/2 core sheets it comes in 4X7 sheets, they have a light layer of fiberglass mat over them. So all I had to do cut to size and glass with heavy woven on the outside and another layer of mat on the inside...
well it's about time I show this room... it took a long time here and I still have some work to do, but here I am ........ So what do you think

when I bought my boat it had no wood exposed inside. Now I have all cherry inside. there is no paint.
It has come down to finishing the trim around all the new wood. I started making my trim today, I used cherry because my walls are cherry now. Easy to do and it goes fast.
has anyone else...
Has anyone every built there own tanks I saw it done one time and I think I can do it, if someone else can do it then so can I. this how I have always lived my life. yes it has got me in trouble twice in the last 15 years (no not the law) But I do think I an do it.
I want a black water holding...
