Well, I was gonna say there's no such thing as a cheap boat.... but then I saw it's made of WOOD. I can't imagine the amount of work to keep it floating.

I have no idea how you wood hull guys put up with the stuff...


Lately I've been browsing boats and harbors for my next boat...I'm thinking something about 50 feet long with a COI and twin diesels

i lived on a 43 footer antique motor yacht......

all the amenities

our up keep time was 6 hours a week......(depending on the amount of seagulls around)

as far as a wood boat goes.....any ole idiot can fix a wood boat....you might need a good corking once every 10 years....and bottom paint as much as any water stored boat.....the bilge pump turns on every 20 minits. no biggie


if that was on the west coast.....id pull out the visa....in a heart beat
